Crossroads To Host IMPACT Clinic

Need to earn your IMPACT certification before this year's tournament? We have just the ticket. Crossroads will be hosting IMPACT clinics prior to both weekends of the tournament. The clinics will be held on Friday, March 7 at 7 pm in Room 407 and on Thursday, March 13 at 7 pm in Room 210.

Registration is through SignUpToPlay.com and must be done prior to the event. The clinic will cost $40 if you pay online or mail a check. (The check must arrive no later than March 3rd.) The cost for non-prepaid registration is $60. There will be no walk-up registration for these clinics.

HP Tryouts: What You Need To Know

Are you ready for your shot at USA Volleyball's High Performance Teams? Crossroads will be hosting tryouts on both weekends of the tournament. Tryouts will be held on Monday, March 10th 5-8 pm and on Thursday, March 13th 4-7. Registration for tryouts will begin at 4 pm on March 10th and at 3 pm on March 13th. Roster Updates!

Many teams entered Crossroads this year without entering a roster.  If yours is one of these teams, you might want to get your roster information entered now.

You MUST have a complete, correct roster entered into Sign Up To Play BEFORE you print your roster for CHECK-IN at the tournament.  NO HANDWRITTEN CORRECTIONS are permitted on the check-in roster.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.  You will have to find your own computer and printer to make corrections if you arrive in Denver without the corrected form - the tournament has NO extra equipment for teams to use to make corrections on site at check-in.

Want To Practice Before The Tournament?

Practice times will be available in one hour slots, first come-first served between 3 pm and 6 pm on the day prior to play on both weekends. All teams must finish practice by 7 pm to clear the halls for the Opening Night festivities.

Crossroads Fun Fact

Last week we promised more about our international team and here it is! Canada West VBC is coached by a Denver native who now lives and works in Calgary, Alberta.

Why bring her team all the way back to the city of her youth? "My best high school memories are of JNQ volleyball tournaments...My motivations for taking my team to Crossroads are two-fold: 1. I want the girls to know that there are many post-secondary opportunities for them to continue their volleyball career in the States. 2. I wanted them to experience the great atmosphere and sheer enormity of the Crossroads Tournament."

Her best high school memories? What does she remember about Crossroads? "I vividly remember laying sport court and setting up nets in the Colorado Convention Center as part of our Front Range VBC fundraising. (not so much fun, but I will never forget it!)"
