If yours is one of those clubs that has its travel season all planned out, you can make hotel reservations for Crossroads beginning at 10:00 am EDT on October 1st. The THS web site (http://www.ths-volleyball.com) will be ready to go for Crossroads reservations at that time.
Team reservations through THS are available for a minimum of 4 rooms per night. (If you need over 100 rooms per night, please contact THS directly at 888-536-8326. They will call you back in the order they receive calls, but they could be swamped on Monday. So please be patient.) Making a team reservation will allow THS to block your rooms together and make sure your chaperone is with the team. You will receive a contract from THS and confirmation of your reservation as soon as you submit the signed contract and a rooming list.
You can add a block of rooms for your parent rooms. (As soon as you fill out your reservation request online, a prompt will ask you if you want to make parent reservations.) The parent block is separate from the team block - you don’t have to collect credit cards and rooming lists from the parents; you can give the parents a link to your special team/parent block, they can log on and set their own arrival and departure dates, and give their own credit card number. But the rooms will be linked to your team block and in the hotel with your team. Or individual parents can log on and make their own individual (up to three rooms at one time) reservations.
The downtown hotels within 6 blocks (“walking distance”) of the Denver Convention Center require a 3 night minimum to reserve rooms at the block price. Overflow hotels have a 2 night minimum stay.
There is a Team Cancellation Deadline, which is noon on January 7, 2008. Team cancellations after that date (20% or more of the reserved rooms) will incur three nights room and tax penalty for each room at a downtown hotel, and two nights at other hotels. Since the YJOV changed acceptance criteria for Open divisions this year to match those for Club, you should know, for sure, if your team is in the tournament as soon as you apply for entry and we receive your payment, even for Open divisions.
We think you will find the room rates for the hotels are lower than almost all big cities for the best properties and lower than rates individuals can arrange for groups. We hope your experience with our housing partner, THS, is positive and helpful. Thanks for supporting Crossroads.

Remember that registration for the tournament will open at 10:00 am MDT on October 15th. As stated above, YJOV's acceptance policy has changed to allow you to know almost immediately if you have been accepted into the tournament field.
