A Few Last Minute Items

1. Please be aware that NO COOLERS, NO OUTSIDE FOOD, NO PERSONAL CHAIRS and NO BALLOONS are allowed in the facility. This is a HUGE hassle every year because people insist on trying to bring coolers and food in anyway. People not cooperating with these rules will be refused admission or be ejected from the event.

2. There is no Coaches' Meeting. Pools will be posted on the web site (http://www.coloradocrossroads.org, then Schedule) about 48 hours before the start of the tournament.

3. Team Check-in starts at 4 p.m. Friday, March 9 for Week 1 and 4 pm Thursday, March 15 for Week 2 in Lobby F of the Denver Convention Complex at 700 14th Street in Denver. We will not start the check-in process before 4 pm, so please do not arrive before then.

4. Be certain to bring your CORRECT printed check-in form.  No hand written additions or deletions are acceptable, and there will be no printer available on-site.

5. Regular Team Check-in ends promptly at 9 pm. Late Team Check-in will be at 7:15 am on the morning of the tournament start, Saturday, March 10 for Week 1 and Friday, March 16 for Week 2 at the Tournament Desk near Court 33.

6. Practice times are available on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED basis - PROVIDED we have all the courts up. You must CHECK-IN and compete all registration items BEFORE practicing. Time slots of one hour will be available from 4:30 pm through 7:30 pm on Friday, March 10 for Week 1 and Thursday, March 15 for Week 2. All teams must leave the courts promptly at 8:30 pm to allow for finishing touches and housekeeping for the next day. (We have never had more teams than we have space available for at practice times, so don't worry that you won't get a practice time.)

7. Doors to the facilities will open at 7 am on the tournament play days, but NOT BEFORE that time. If you arrive early, you will have to wait outside the building until 7 am. And it could be very cold.

8. March is usually a snowy month in Colorado, and the weather is usually chilly (40s during the day and 20s at night). We could have significant snow – we often do at least one day during Crossroads. If you are from a warmer climate, be sure you bring appropriate outdoor clothing. (It may also be 60 degrees one or more days with lots of sun - that's why we love Colorado!).

For more information, check the Crossroads website.

Where Can You Park?

You have your flights, your hotel rooms, your check-in form, your medical release forms, your uniforms, your shoes, your kneepads, your water bottle and snacks. What are you going to do with your car? Here's a handy website to help you find a place to park. Not only can you find a parking lot, but you will have an idea of how much it will cost you. It won't guarantee you a spot once you get there, but it's a start!
